
MacArthur Park 5K

The MacArthur Park 5K is an annual race in downtown Little Rock coordinated by the MacArthur Park Group, Little Rock Parks & Recreation and Downtown Little Rock Partnership. The 3.1 mile race (5K) begins from the North Lawn (9th Street) of MacArthur Park in front of the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History. The MacArthur Park 5K is held each year in May. Proceeds from this year's race will be used to help fund the installation and maintenance of the MacArthur Park UnLimited Playground.
Event Details and Schedule
Packet pick up and registration is from 5:00 p.m.- 6:45p.m. on Friday, May 6th on the parade grounds directly behind the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History. You will receive your t-shirt, bib and chip. The race will begin promptly at 7 p.m. This race is timed using chip timing. Each chip must be returned to the race organizers once you cross the finish line.
Once you've crossed the finish line, please stay for the awards ceremony and live music by Jimmy Lynn's Psychedelic Velocity with plenty of Stone's Throw beer, and other food and drinks TBD.
Spectators are welcome and can join in watching the band, food and drinks. Spectator entrance is $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under.

CORPORATE CUP (Teams)
A corporate cup team is composed of four individuals, with at least one female and one male entrant. Each corporate team member must have been employed by the company for at least 1000 hours. Wheelchair athletes are welcome. There are no geographical restrictions on team or individual participation.

Deadline for registration is April 29th. There will be no corporate race day registrations.

CAN YOU HELP?
The MacPark 5K is a laid back fun run suitable for every member of the household. This annual fundraiser for MacArthur Park goes a long way in making improvements in Little Rock's most historic city park. This year all proceeds will go to creating a universally accessible playground in the park. Volunteers are needed for day of registration, setup, cheerleaders and cleanup. All volunteers will receive a t-shirt and access to the race after party where there will be free beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, pizza and live music. We hope you can help!
